Bluffing your Way through Online Casino Poker
You may have been told that bluffing during the game of poker cannot be done at online casino tables and that you can only master this skill at live poker tables. Although it is more difficult to bluff at an online casino, if you learn to read between the lines and watch things coming from your opponent other than body language, you will be able to master online casino bluffing.
Remember that you should avoid trying to bluff at loose online casino tables. Bluffing works best at tight tables at online casino sites. The same goes for low limit online casino poker tables – bluffing will probably not work. However at high limit or no limit tables, you stand a better chance of bluffing. Bluffing, or calling an opponent’s bluff at an online casino can’t be done by reading body language (unless you are playing with a web cam). However, if you learn your opponent’s strategies, you will be able to read into his actions and understand if he is bluffing.
Another good way to get to know your opponents is through the online casino chat room. Nervous, over-chatty players might be planning something and you should be on guard. Once you master the skill of recognizing a bluff at an online casino, live poker bluffing will be a breeze. | |
